Hello, I am moving into a house built in the 20's and the floors are mostly covered in rugs. Upon pulling up the rugs I was surprised to find what seems like unfinished yellow pine. Can this be sanded and finished or should new flooring be put over it? Any information would be helpful. Thank you.

If you like pine, you should be able to have them sanded and finished. I'd consult a local NWFA member. Usually no cost to come by and have a look and bid on the refinish job.
