Does anyone have a source to order wooden baseboard heat/return registers? Most of the ones I've found range in price between $47-$55...expensive!

Do you mean cold air returns and registers for HVAC made of wood? To be installed in baseboards? The only type I've ever seen are fancy sheet metal boxes with the baseboards cut to them. Most are installed in the floors. Like this.

Thanks again Gary. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. This link will better show you what I'm referring to as wood baseboard registers.http://www.crafthome.com/subsidiarypages/registers/RegisterMainFramePage.htm
