I’m trying to identify these two woods I have in my striped floor. The dark one is heavy. I would guess is black palm or ipy. The lighter one I’m not sure.

Backstory to it.
I have a room with a 1920s wood floor. Sometime in the 50s the porch was enclosed and they put down oak in that section. Settling in the part with the original floors has made them pretty uneven, about 1.5” over 5’ in one spot. Trying to level them out and put down new flooring I feel like would be a major endeavor. I’m thinking I may be better off pulling out the newer oak which is reasonably level and trying to match as closely as I can the original floor.

Thanks for any advice or help.

The dark wood is definitely not Ipe. It is a palm wood. I have seen similar in Tahiti.
The lighter wood looks like a eucalyptus called Australian Beech.
It looks like both species were graded for consistent color.
