 Post subject: Wood flooring scratches

Any tricks of the trade on blending in wood flooring scratches.
I have 2 areas isolated - think of them as 2" circles with heavy scratches..
The bottom of these bases had plastic *caps* but I guess those don't prevent scratches.

Top finish has aluminum oxides in it - which AFAIK, pronounce the scratches even more.
Wood flooring is Santos Mahagony

Just regular carpenters crayon or oil ?
Or are there any other tricks of the trade.
