I often get complaints from customers who have installed the flush floor registers made of wood. They look nice but cannot be adjusted or opened/closed.

Does anyone make this type of register with an adjustment provision? Would appreciate any info.

They are available with adjustable metal louvers. I've used them before. Should be where you get the others.

I am pretty sure everyone in the vent biz makes them with or without dampers.

Guys, I said FLUSH registers. The ones that are widely available, such as Atlanta Supply and similar, stick up above the floor and have radiused edges.
I am looking for adjustable registers that drop in FLUSH with the floor.

We know what you're talking about. The ones that sit on top of the floors are called self-rimming. Like I said, I've installed them. Got them from my flooring distributor.

Here is what we offer to our customers.

http://www.allamericanwood.com/stockregisters.html

They are great people to deal with and have a fantasitc product that is reasonably priced. They were unhappy with the damper, or "air flow control" as they call it, so they set up thier own metal fabrication shop and manufacture the damper themselves. Thier number is at the bottom of the page. Tell em I sent you.

Thanks Dan and Jerry. The Volko appears to be a wood cover over a metal register, whereas the All American appears to be a one-piece with the damper control lever available on the outside. If I understand their websites correctly.
I will give them both a call Monday and get the details. Thanks again guys.
