Sounds like a silly question.... but, will a 10% ammonia solution - household ammonia, ruin the finish on my hardwood floors? It's not a wax finish so must be polyurathane?? I would assume yes, but I am hoping someone will tell me otherwise.

My pets have a parasite and I have to clean my entire house top to bottom with 10% ammonia to get rid of it but obviously I am VERY concerned about the floors....

Thoughts?

As long as you are not slopping it on and leaving it, everything should be fine.
