Should you trim off the tongue on the width of a plank when starting a new row?

3/4" solid T&G Brazilian Cherry. It would be the plank that would start a row and be closest to a wall and the expansion gap. won't meet with anything else.

If your starting on that wall with the tongue facing it yes cut it off.
