What!! Is that actually possible in todays "get er done" state of mind and, we'll worry about problems later. What's this worth? My installer added a beautiful strip of Wengai or Wenge around my fireplace with that nice 45 degree look and also added a Wengai strip behind the nosing of my steps. As for the skirt boards those are custom routed on site. All this xtra stuff and before I forget to mention that out of at least 7, yes 7 bids he was the lowest bid. He stated he had 9 years experience even though most of the bidders said they had over 20 years experience. My son is really pissed at himself for picking someone else more hurriedly to change out his 7 carpeted entry steps and install hardwood. Now my son can't wait to get this guy to refinish his yellowed Red oak flooring. I think maybe a big tip is in order for these guys. Woudn't you agree?

If you like the work and the installer, and feel you got a great deal, plus he's doing some extras, a tip would be appreciated, I'm sure. I've gotten tips before and always accepted them graciously. Sounds like your hard work in finding the best installer is paying off.
