I've put some research into this recently. It can be frustrating. I can safely say #1 and #2 are all USA made, but Homerwood uses Baltic birch as their engineered base. IE; Russian or eastern Europe. Not sure if that makes a difference for you, because the FTC says all components have to be made in the USA to use the made in the USA statement. This is sometimes swayed. Not sure why. Politics?
1. Somerset. They did outsource (engineered only) from China until two years ago
2. Homerwood
3. Anderson - most of their lines
4. Shaw - about 85% USA made
5. Harris Wood - I believe 100%
6. Mannington - is pretty high, but not with the popular new wider plank styles.
There are many smaller mills that are entirely made in the USA with limited visibility on the internet. I could add WD, but for some reason, that guy (CEO) rubs me the wrong way. Can't put my finger on it.
Kevin could probably help in this department in adding more.
Curious what price range you're looking at.
