 Post subject: which stapler for 9/16 enginered

Cant find stapler to rent for my project so will have to buy one, any suggestions. For 9/16 inch enginered BC

You can use a Bostitch M111FS with 1 &1/2" staples. You'll need to install a thin piece of wood or my favorite, cardboard, under the existing plate. This will raise the fastener location so it will engage the tongue correctly. Sometimes, you have to mess with the cardboard thickness to get it right. I,ve used the M111FS to staple down engineered so I know it can be done.

Local Home Depot rents this tool, I thought it was for 3/4 inch only. Will give it a try
