A flooring company is refinishing my red oak floors and they said I can choose my stain. Right now the stain is very light, however, I would like to go a little darker...like a mahogany/cherry color. I've seen Brazilian Cherry/Santos Mahogany photos online and either of those would suffice. Which stain should I use? Maybe an 80/20 mixture between something like Red Mahogany and Cherry? If anyone has done this before I would be interested in knowing how you got the desired look. Thanks.
