Looking for a medium to dark brown engineered floor. Like the Gemwoods Kaya Kuku as well as the LM Ipe. The LM Ipe seems like it must be stained as it doesn't have the color variations of a typical Brazilian Walnut, and its dark. Is it stained? The Kaya Kuku is not really dark enough but could work. The floor will butt agains a 30 ft paneled wall of Zebrawood (which is a pretty strong statement)...
Cannot find a review of Gemwoods on this site. Can anyone tell me how it compares with LM. I had one dealer tell me that he discontinued carrying LM because the milling standards were not consistent. Is that true? Any other wood varieties or manufacturers that we should consider?
