I keep mine in an army ammo bucket, For those not familiar. It's about 17" by maybe 6, rubber gasket, I fill it with either prue gum turpine, or paint thinner (1 gal will do it) . Before and after every coat it get wipped down with a paint stirrer . Then put back. The thinners empied and cleanned out about 3-4 weeks at a time. Well that's me. what about you

I will either clean and wash after each use or store in the poly bucket till next coat. It depends on which finish I'm using and which applicator. On small to medium jobs I'll use a 10" Padco flocked foam pad which is disposable. It is easy to manuver and cut-in with, especially in tight kitchens. I only use a brush on stairs and very small tight areas. On large floors, I prefer to T-bar and I'll clean my applicator after each use and store in thinner.
