If it isn't possible to keep a wet edge at some points, what the is the best way to handle that?

Have bedrooms on both sides of a hallway, then kitchen area on one side and living room on the other side. So at a couple points I'm going to be stuck not working off a wet edge doing it by myself.

Little confused on what I should do.

In the doorways, "paint" a nice straight edge (line) along a board's seam. Then when you get back to that spot, "cut in" up to that edge.

Yes. Or if not comfortable with that use blue painters tape to mask off your last boards seem in each room. Cut onto/overlap slightly onto the tape then peel of quickly (esp if waterbased)... you will have a seemless line at your last board.. then just as Gary says cut into your "drying/dry" edge.
