hi quick question I am doing a glue down install and on the end of my wood where the hardwood meets the carpet the boards are slightly popping up. What type of small braid nail can I use to keep the boards down? I am installing Bruce 5/8 preengineered on concrete slab. I know a type of nail exisits because my builder used some on the same floor. Iasked at home depot and no one knew. Sorry for the message I'm typing on a handheld.

I'm just guess that they are called sprigs. From what I have gleaned that is not a real good method to use.

I agree with Jerry. Is it too late to squeze some glue under the boards and place weight on them overnight?

Sprigs can and will eventually back out. It will cut your foot.

I put some more glue under the boards and weighed it down....

I didn't know that sprigs are not a good idea.
