Gentlemen:
I am going to install 1500 square feet of five inch tongue and groove IPE on the main floor. The sub floor is 23/32 OSB and I am wondering what is the best type of nailer to use. IPE is very hard and I DO NOT want to pre drill every hole. So, will a Bostitch Cleat Nailer MIII FN do the job?
Thanks,
Rick

Staples will probably work better

Cleats will have far less tendency to blow the tongue off such hard boards as IPE.
