I am about to have an anxiety attack! I purchased hardwood flooring (5" engineered handscraped maple) to install in most of my first floor Norcross, GA home (near Atlanta). I am going to have to lift up carpet, laminate and hardwoods that already cover the area.
All of the installers I talked to told me I had to purchase my own glue. From everything I've read on the internet, I'm thinking that Bostick's is the best. But it is very expensive and I can't find anyone who will sell it to me.
Any thoughts on what type of glue I should use and/or where I can get it at a reasonable price?
Also, I have been reading that I need to put down a mosture blocker... but none of the people I have spoken to say that is necessary? Any thoughts?
Thanks for your help!
