We are going to be having curupay installed. We have not being able to find flush mounted floor vents to date made out of curupay, so I was wondering if people have recommendations for the next closest hardwood. Given that there are lots of color variations in curupay I was thinking this solution would work.

Does anyone have ideas?

Thanks,

Darryl

Hey Darryl,
There aren't a lot of species that match Patagonian Rosewood EXACTLY. Brazilian Cherry and Massaranduba are probably your best bets. Here's Brazilian Cherry:

And here's Massaranduba:

I personally think Massaranduba is the closest thing to PR, but Brazilian Cherry is generally a more popular species.

Hope this helps!
