I'm going to glue down 300SF of the Hartco Valenza engineered floor to a concrete subfloor. Bostiks MVO will be going down first.

The floor is 5/8" and 10 ply. Question is the manufacturer says to use a 3/16"x1/4"x1/2"x5/16" trowel. I want to use Bostiks BST which has a few different trowel recommendations. 3/16" x 5/32" V Notch for 3 ply and 5 ply Engineered Plank (Coverage: 50 ft2/ Gallon) and 1/4" x 1/4" x 1/8" Square Notch for 1/2" Engineered Plank & 3/4" Parquet
(Coverage: 40 ft2/ Gallon).

Which trowel do I use??
Thanks! This forum is great!!

I'm using the 40sq.ft. per gal. measure.
