For site-finished White Oak, what finish is best for holding up to dogs nails, and the least slippery (preferably keep the wood feeling natural, not like a plastic coating)?

Thanks.

It's a bit of a pain to teach old dogs new tricks, as they say, but you might consider booties for you dogs. They protect your floors from nail scratches and they have nice no-slip bottoms. Best of all worlds if they don't mind wearing them.
