I've bought enough of two types of wood to cover my floors in a few rooms in my house. I was thinking of using both, but my wife says that we have to use only one kind. So, I need to know what is better between Brazilian Cherry and Bamboo hard wood floors?

Can anyone give me advice?

You can see my floor and the details here:

Your wife is right ! Sometimes you can use different woods. But IMHO not in this case.

Which wood is best for WHO ? You , or the toucans in the rain forest ?

All kidding aside, if it was me, it's a slam dunk.
The density and beauty of the Brazilian Cherry wins. Bamboo is actually a grass

^^^^ Agree

Brazilian Cherry looks amazing.

Also, its extremely hard, I have 2 dogs and a cat and don't show any marks on my floor.

The durability of the floor with the dogs & cat is a result of the finish, sheen, texture, or all 3.
Hardness or density relates to impact resistance, denting.

If your dogs or cat can dent the wood....I'm heddin for the hills ! :P
