Hey guys, I need some help. We bought a house that was built in 1960, and we found original hardwood floors under the carpet. They were in actually really good shape but were dirty and kinda dull so we cleaned them with murphy's oil soap and then waxed and buffed them to bring back the shine. Here is my question, we've been in the house for a couple of weeks and it's time to give them a general cleaning but all all the wood and floor mopping stuff says that you shouldn't use them on waxed floors. Some say they will turn the floors dull and can cause a white haze and you will have to restrip all of the wax and rewax and buff. The floors are not nasty by any means but it is time for a general mopping and I don't know what to use because I don't want to have to redo them everytime we mop. Please help
