A leaky roof wet a newly laid Tarkett Loctite floor. The finish has darkened and some mold is present. What might be a way to refinish the floor? Barring that, is there a way to cut out the six damaged units and replace them, perhaps using glue instead of the tongue and grooves?

if you have the material to replace them with. Not sure if I understand the entire question. Are you saying the current installation is nailed and you want to glue the replacement planks?
If so, please don't do that. It is best to spend money on a pro for this one. Cost depends on area you live in, but well worth it. Glue has a thickness which means the replacement planks will sit higher than surrounding planks.

Great advise except this...

Would you be able to make that same statement, if they also remove the felt or rosin paper to get the glue to stick to the subfloor? What is the thickness of rosin or 15# asphalt saturated felt paper?

Is that a fair statement? or do you disagree?

tarkett locktite sounds like a floating floor, if so than you need to disassemblr the floor replace the damage and reinstall.
