I'm just over a week from closing the sale of my condo, and we discovered yesterday that the fridge was turned off and the water from the icemaker went all over the floor. I've got a fan turned on it and all the windows open. It's due to be hot for the next few days, so I have no doubt it will dry.

Is there anything I can do once it dries to get rid of the "tide line" at the outer edge of the spill? Also, one board feels like it's a little rough now. Is there a way to put a finish back on it?

Sooooo depressed......

Pattern Plus is more resistant to water than other common prefinished hardwoods. It wouldn't suprise me if you don't notice anything once it's dried thoroughly.

Are you from Estonia? I once worked with a fellow who was Estonian. Nice guy! His name was/is Rein (I'll not mention the last name as he may not want me to). Don't run into too many Estonians here in the USA. Good luck on your problem. Hope it turns out OK!
