I've recently experienced water damage to my Award Hardwood Floor. The refrigerator icemaker hose leaked and water got under the wood and caused the wood to discolor and buckle. My problem is I cannot find replacement flooring made by Award to match what I already have. This is actually an Award hardwood floor that features Wearmax; an advanced ceramic finish (this is right out of the brochure).

I understand Award Flooring went out of business, but I was hoping someone out there might know if a dealer keeps Award flooring in stock.

Thank you.

First I heard they went out of business. Is that accurate?

Trying to find discontinued flooring is more luck than anything. You could try the dealer locator on their site. Finding someone to spend time with you for a box or two may be the biggest obstacle. Then some dealers may not even have a decent inventory list of what's piled in their warehouse.

I know it sounds odd, but I recently had a breaker blow in my 30 year old house. Without thinking, I went to the store and found out...they don't carry them. I called every electrical store within 50 miles. Now I do not have the money to replace the entire box. To make my point, I went online and found a guy who carried every breaker known to man, but he worked out of his home. With that said, if you look long enough, you will find someone with this type of hardwood floors. Look online and talk to places that sell hardwood floors because they will most likely know someone who carries the stuff they don't, especially discontinued stuff. Good luck!
