Is it true that I cannot get a flush stair nose on laminate flooring??
At home depot I placed a bruce flush stair nose on a laminate floor and it worked, just don't have the right color so it would match, it may be possible. If I want this flush look do i have to go engineered or solid? Please advise. My experience is putting in 1500 sq ft of wilsonart laminate.

Also I forgot when i install this, logically I think I should start at the bottom stair and work my way up to the 500 sq ft I wanna do at top. Any advise on this also. Thanks so much for responding

What brand laminate? Wilsonart overlap stair nosing can be modified to create a flush nosing. See pages 12-14.

You start at the bottom on steps.

thanks Jerry,

That is really complicated but WHY don't they just make them that way to begin with??? This really bugs me. Thanks. What's better Verastrip Engineered or Wilsonart laminate? Now debating.
