I have purchased an old house built in the mid forties. After removing two carpets and two vinyl floors I found hardwood, however there is glue all over it. How do I remove this old glue without damaging the flooring?

The quick answer is - you cannot remove the glue without damaging the floor - you will need repairs.

Your question is a little like " how can I put a fire out without using water"

Ready for the Chemical answers - Beat it out etc but you know what I mean
