Hi. I live in a ranch house with old oiled floors. The floors get a fair share of abuse and tracking in. I've brought the floors back to life with boiled linseed oil/mineral spirits. The patina is really nice. I've decided against waxing them because there is so much traffic in our main living area which is about 25 x 45. I just don't want to invest that much time in stripping and reapplying wax all the time . We work out of our home, and have pets so there is lots of traffic.
I bought a buffer to keep the floors polished. I use a canister vacuum, but that doesn't keep them clean enough. What's the best way to mop/clean oiled floors in between oiling and buffing? Thank you in advance.
