I have special order very wide plank floor. Each plank is 30 cm wide 3 cm thick and 2 m long (12" x 1.1" x 6.6') t. The wood are Burma padouk or Mai pradoo and Afzelia xylocapar. My house is locate in Southern California which is very dry and the wood is very thick and heavy. So I plan to just lay it on the concrete floor and use adhesive caulk to glue wood to the concrete floor. Any better idea?

Ya, send me all the cash your fixing to spend, or just throw it out the window.

Solid over concrete is a failure just waiting to happen. Maybe not tomorrow, or next week or next month, but eventually ir will bite ya, and bite hard.
