What does everyone else find is the best way to de stink a plywood subfloor of dog pee? I usually use a bleach solution, but this house seems extreme. I felt like I needed a shower after just walking in the house all you could smell was dog piss.

Use a hudson sprayer, and soak it with vinegar and water solution. Then just roll on the cheapest paint you can find. It dries non pourous, smell is gone. Just have to be aware of the wall locations , the drywall sucking it up, ( there's no face for nasty or gross ).

There's something about vinegar that neutralizes the urine, have used it a ton on cat and that's ten times worse than dog. Always painted over it though, seal it all in.

( You have to wait till the hottest day of summer to really enjoy the job  :P )

Ya , that's hard to handle. Replace casings, jambs, base, drywall. But demo the ply ?? :?

I have an extra tough time with those type jobs, being allergic to cats. I feel funny wearing a mask , for what the customer might think  ( how stupid ).

I,m going to price out replacing the plywood but she is already on a tight budget. If work wasn't so tight I would just pass on the whole job.
