 Post subject: unique herringbone

hand made this herringbone, the brazilian cherry is 3 1/4 and the smaller peices used to be 3 1/4 white oak, i set my table saw to rip the white oak dead in half. Cut all peices to 12 inches, routed all peices and splined,about 300 sq.ft. Took me 6 days just to make all the cuts and do all the routing, and another couple days to sand and finish. Its in my own bedroom thats why i went through all the trouble. It was early in the morning and i was sitting on my throne when i had this idea.

I dont believe i have ever seen one like this before. I previewed the pictures and they look awfull, sorry about the quality.

Now THAT, I like. I never really cared too much for herringbones but this one is really awesome ... NICE WORK!
