I apologize if I am repeating a question.
We will be nailing engineered wood flooring over tongue and groove plywood. This doesn't have to be nailed, but we decided that was the best for us. There is a basement under this level.
We need to get the flooring level up to match the floor it butts up against, so we thought cork would be the way to go. 1/4".
Does the cork need anything under it? If so, what? And what would be the installation procedure for the cork?
Or, another suggestion for underlayment that is a similar price to cork.
Thanks!
