Hi there..I did a search and read the stickies....and I am no less unsure so I figured I woulod come out and ask. I have weyerhauser sturdi wood APA rated 23/32" 17.5 ml sub floor that is not a true plywood but an OSB style. Should I lay down some regular plywood (1/4, 3/8 maybe) as an underlay before I lay down 1400sq ft of Jatoba on our main floor?

Thanks all...
P

Your subfloor is approved by NOFMA and the NWFA. No need for underlayment as long as your flooring is being nailed down, the joists are 16" OC and you install at 90 degrees to direction of the joists.
