Just a tip I found.

According to the directions, I'm suppose to use 1/4x1/4x1/8 (1/8" deep) notched trowel. None of the big box stores around me carries that size, only the 1/4x1/4x1/4. So I took some duct tape and covered the bottom half of the notches (and the rest of the flat surface, makes cleaning a lot easier).

Coverage was about 90%.

ronnald,

Reviving an old thread here, but I have the same issue going on...

I too am going to use Bostik's Best to glue down bamboo on concrete, and I too want to go with the the 1/4" by 1/4" by 1/8" trowel, and cannot find one.

You say you used duct tape to cut down the notches on a 1/4" by 1/4" by 1/4" square trowel...how did it work out for you?
Any problems with adhesion now that you are a few weeks out?
What kind of sqft/gal area coverage did you get with your tricked out, modded trowel?
(I've got 380 sqft to do, and want to know if 2 5-gal pails of Best will be enough)

Thanks.
