I'm touching up a hair left in the final coat of Satin Traffic over a natural Hickory. I've tried using Bona's mixing container, but I'm still having trouble hitting the sheen on the 2 boards. Comes out too glossy, then too dull. Anybody have any suggestions/tricks on how to adjust the sheen on a touch up like this; sprays, rubbing compounds, etc...?

Stop trying and coat whole room. Wb. Finish is NOT spot repairable.

Ive done it with good results. Shake the finish until you arm hurts let it settle for about ten minutes it should blend right end. It may take a few weeks for the repair to completely disappear but it can be done. How are you prepping the repair? too thick application will give you a sheen difference as well.
