Couldn't find this (probably obvious) topic discussed though I may have missed it.

I've installed floating clik-lock flooring with excess underlayment along the edges. I will apply 11/16" shoe molding to existing baseboard. Do I just trim the underlayment flush to the edge (bottom of baseboard) or do I trim it a half inch longer and pin it behind the shoe molding?

Thanks for your help. This board is a wealth of info!

Do not pin the under layment behind the baseshoe. It should be trimmed at the height of the floor when done fitting the floor to the room.
