First of all, thanks to everyone who has been so much help, I've been slowly working on this over a year and finally have all the downstairs floor glued down and some of the thresholds done and couldn't have gotten this far without all the pointers. But now comes the trim... The tile floor in the kitchen and entryways is about 3/32 lower than the wood floors. This hasn't posed too much of an issue for thresholds, but what do I do for trim? There are two spots in the middle of walls where the two heights meet, the rest of the meetings are corners of some sort. Do I put corner blocks and little blocks of base board? Does that mean I should put blocks at every corner? Ripping out all of the trim and putting a 3/32 strip under it seems like a really painful way to do this...
Thanks in advance

That is a typical scenario around these parts. All the tile guys install the tile up to the existing baseboards. I always remove and reset the base for Hardwood. Before re-installing the base I rip the bottom of all the base to line up with the base height in the adjoining areas of tile or stone.

Yea and tile is not supposed to be set/grouted to vertical surfaces anymore either. Ran into one...a track home of all, where the tile had been installed with the base on top. Man was I happy!
