The bamboo floors I'm installing have a "Treffert" pre-finish applied, and in some places I'll have to apply my own microbevel edge where it's cut.

Any suggestions on what product to use for sealing the sanded edge?

You need to ask the manufacturer on this because I don't know what finish this is. I sometimes use wipe on poly.

The poly is actually what I had in mind.

Good suggestion on the Manufacturer, should have thought of that.

The "treffert" system is some German thing, a multiple step Aluminum Oxide coating. http://www.treffert.com/ . Cool Euro-jazz music on their site...
