I usually just glue them down with some construction adhesive.

I usually glue it to one side or the other. Letting it float with the floor, or to the ceramic tile and let the flooring float under it. I have seen some locked in floater, because they tried to glue it down to the concrete and the liquid nails oozed out and actually glued the edge of the floor down.

Since gluing it down would you include the plastic track?

If you've got moldings that will fit in tracks and you've got tracks, then use those. Glue the tracks down and allow plenty of room for expansion. Look for adhesive that works with plastic and concrete. Epoxy, construction adhesive, urethane adhesive, etc. Check for compatability.

Thanks Gary on the heads up on the adhesive. I would have got the stuff for basket weaving. I figuring for half inch on the expansion gap using kahrs woodloc which leaves quarter inch to cover the wood. I sure am, pleased with the woodloc for a first time DIY. Great product!
