Greetings!

In a new house contruction I am wondering what the best choices may be for transition between Bruce hardwood (5/16") and the tile in front of a gas fireplace. Since it is a corner fireplace the hardwood would meet the tile at an angle (to complicate matters). I realize Bruce makes T molding for such an application, but we are not convinced that would look all that great. I did thing about running the hardwood all the way to the fireplace and THEN put the tile over the hardwood. We actually think the little "lift" of the tile would look pretty good. Any thought on this idea or other transition pieces would be greatly appreciated.
