My Kahrs woodloc floating floor is installed, except for the transitions.

I need a transition strip for an adjoining bathroom linoleum floor. Does Home Depot sell them -- and what's the best way to install? Can I use carpenter's glue? I'm sensitive to chemicals, so epoxy won't work for me.

Thanks in advance.

In my limited experience, HD sucks for transitions. Very little selection, and all that they have is prefinished to match the floors they sell.

I'm planning on going to a local mill for mine. Sherwin Williams supposedly will match stain, so I'll bring a piece of my prefinished with me and see how that goes.

I found that the Kahrs reducers were the best match. I even tried to stain a raw piece of reducer that I bought locally and it just didn't look right. Get the store or online retailer you bought from to send you the tranistion pieces. Of course you'll have to pay for them, but online retailers especially do not sell the moldings seperately. They want you to buy them with your flooring order.
