yep its been that way for a long time. my only other suggestion would be to buy a oak one unfinished and finish it yourself for closer to 15.00. you will have to hunt down a wood flooring supply company but they should be able to help you with that.

You could always try milling one on a table saw out of stock if that sounds like fun to ya.

I saw my local Ace has some giant bamboo stalks about 7ft long and 6 inches wide all kiln dried and such. But yer not going to see me trying to make a bamboo transition strip outa one. Your floor is bamboo, right?
