Hi there, Im a noob and Im installing new floors so please bare with me. Im not sure if I can name the product so Ill just leave that out atm. I have prefinished 3/4 x 5" solid oak planks that vary in length from 12" to 42" roughly. I have noticed that I have some random boards that either the face or tongue that end up looking like around an mm or two wider in some cases. Not many and I don't really notice them til I get them in. The obvious issue is that when the next row is laid, there is a gap along those particular boards.

Im wonder what the best option is to address this without ripping out and starting over. Can I sand them down somehow? I have a few pics below. Thanks for any advice.

Your flooring looks like it has been stored in a damp location and some of the planks have swollen. If you wait until all the planks are acclimated they might become uniform width. This will take some time. I've never seen this.
This also may be a production problem and laying the flooring will result in gaps all over. Send it back if you can!
