 Post subject: Tongue and grove

Looking to set up either a router , or table saw to cut groves in hardwood to accept the tongue .. Have to cut some wood on a 45 to meet the transition strip .. Just wandering what you guys use ?

router in a router table with a 1/4" dado bit; carbide of course. Made my own set up.

A trick I learned from helping another installer.

He would set his undercut saw, in the groove of a board, and adjust the height and set the screws. Then pass the boards end he want to groove across the blade. Worked pretty sweet for ends.
