Hey guys,
Just saw this product and was wondering if anyone has ever used it.
Looking for pros or cons on it.
I am always a little leery of new products and techs.
Thanks for any input.

We have been using similar products for years, its a thick double sided tape (about 1/16th thick)
We started using it to hold down medalion templates after a buddy said he was using it to secure laminate tracks for thresholds.

there is 3 different ones we use, on is white with a green and white paper backing, one is black with a red backing, and one is white with a white backing.
I believe th red and green/white ones are avaliable at depot for about 4 bucks in a 3/4 x 25 feet I believe

On out templates 6 peices 4 inches long will hold a 36 inch template down enough to run the router round, and once you pry off the template (not very easy) then its just pulling off the double sided tape (think the way you do the 3m comand strips

The rep dropped some off to us. After 3 days you will need a pry bar 3 or 4 feet long to take it apart. Even initially difficult and if attempting to slide it off forget it.

I keep looking for it at box stores but dont see it. Is there a website I can order it from? I'd like to try using it for repairs.

We are installing a medallion today, so we will have the tape out, I will snap a few pictures of it (not that I remember which store we got it from though)

I feel like it was by the weather stripping at the store.

but what I found funny was their elaborate product line of flooring products..I always thought they were just a carpenter glue company.

never see their stuff anywhere around here.

The white one is from harbor freight (4.99) i believe

The green one is from office depot, 9.99 for 125 inches, the also have a roll for 21.00 and a 30 yard roll for 40.00

We used about 9 feet to hold the 36" medalion template down, it left some residue (we could get it off) but we are going to sand the floor so wasnt too concerned about getting all of it off.

The green one is made by scotch
http://www.officedepot.com/a/products/7 ... ting-Tape/

The white one from Harbor freight has about twice the holding power, it can be used for permanent things like thresholds. We did use the green scotch on a few occasions for board repairs with no issues.

The black one with the red cover (Not pictured because I can not locate it)
is the strongest one I have ever used.

Getting a medallion template off the floor with any of these requires using a pry bar. The black one needs a shovel to remove it.

Anyone happen to find a price or availability yet? Probably expensive. Is this going to be a replacement for starting and finishing rows? Naildowns? I'm always leery about restricting natural expansion and contraction, but more and more I hear PL glue being used in these situations.

I'd like to use some for floater plank replacement, leaving the bottom still covered so it does not attach to any cushion. And last or single gluedown or naildown board replacement. So it should not be very thick.

I have some I bought from Big D's here thats pretty thin strong, has a light blue covering on one side. I use it on my board bully. I'm not sure it's strong enough to hold down a plank forever. Oh well, back to Pl Premium and a bucket of sand.

I can't see those images from dropbox. says they have been deleted.
