I have a question you may be able to help me with. We're buying a house with beautiful tigerwood flooring, however they had pads down on the floor where a piano was located. With the piano now out of the house there's discoloration where the pads were. It's much lighter in those 3 spots. Will this correct itself over time with exposure to light or will it need to be repaired or treated?

Not much can be done, but I'm always thinking outside the box. Concentrated UV lamp light on the exposed area may work, but I have a feeling the difference in color will always be there, but not being as noticeable.

Yea like those old sun lamps that were sold so people could get skin cancer inside the house as well as outside the house!

Thanks for the response. Hopefully it will be less noticeable over time. The seller of the house is trying to play it off like it will quickly match the rest of the floor.
