I got all of my 1/2" engineered wood glued down today. I have an exterior door that leads out to our concrete patio. The room used to have carpet in it and a very "old school" threshold. I figured out that it was an interlocking threshold with a height of 1.75 inches and a width of 4 inches.

The problem now is that the threshold piece sits to high for the door to shut. I went up to HD and scoured the internet for a little shorter threshold but could not find anything that I thought would work. I have posted some pictures.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Not sure if I can tell from the pics but it looks like you may need to remove the last piece and install the threshhold and cut the last piece up to the door and caulk at the edge. Or you can cut the piece out that is at door and drop threshold in without removing the whole board.

Trim the bottom of the door.
