I'm laying my new Red Oak floor now. It's going down very nicely and looking wonderful even though it doesn't have a finish on it yet. I'm laying the floor on the diagonal and having a blast doing it too & just wanted to thank the forum for it's incredible information. I wish I had done the whole house 15 years ago when I did my bathroom. Oh well, doing it now. Thanks to everyone.

I am purchasing a new home and I am confused that what type of flooring is the best for my home. However, after seeing your site I have decided that I will use oak flooring. Thanks!

Check the Galley under "This Forum Rocks" for some pics of the finished floor.

I agree, but there are some functionality things I'd like to improve. With Keith being almost impossible to reach, there may be some changes in the next six months. I've thought about contacting Jim McLain (some of you guys know him)....but. Maybe we could make a list? Things you'd like to see improved.

 Really? I thought you had Jim here before and what did he do for ya? If anything the picture upload is the only thing I'd fix. Do it like flooringforum has it set-up.
