I am putting in hardwoof floring in my dining room and living room. I have never done this before. I am in Florida and have a concrete slab so I plan to use an engineered product. In looking at them I notice that the thickness varies from 5/16 in to 3/4 of an inch. Does it matter what the thickness is? I assumed that thicker is better, but I do not know and would appreciate any advice.
I also see that I can either get a product that is glued and others that snap together and float. Is there a preference as to which is better?
Thanks for the help
