I bought a Taylor Moisture Test Kit and did the test. I tested on 50+ year old terrazzo. I weighed the Calcium Chloride before and after the test and the weight was the same. I mailed the test back to Taylor to analyze and the result was 3.17 Lbs. Moisture. Their brochure says the upper limit is 3.0 lbs.

We have already purchased 480 sq ft of hardwood to put down. Is this test result a problem?

You have to do 3 tests per 1000 sq.ft and then an average is taken.

I don't agree with CC testing, but that is "the standard" for the USA, but no where else in the world.

Well, once again a salesperson didn't explain the process. We only did 1 test kit for under 1,000 sq. ft. Floorguy, you're saying we should have done 3??? If I understand you correctly...the results are no big deal???
